By joining the Fire Department you will receive free, professional training that will enable you to make a valuable contribution to our community. You can decide which service is right for you, Firefighting, Emergency Medical Services, Fire Police Support or Administative Services. Requirements to join the Fire Department include: Living in the Hastings Fire Department Fire District, being in good physical shape & being of good character.
