Hastings-on-Hudson Firefighters braved a cold winter wind on February 3, 2007
morning entering the icy waters of New Hampshire Training Center. The
Firefighters practiced both underwater and surface ice rescue scenarios.
For
training Rescue divers submerged below six inches of ice practicing scuba and
search skills.
Additional training included a training evolution of every member that
attended. Each member donned their Sterns cold water immersion suit and
practiced self rescue and victim rescue. Please take a look at all the pictures.
The
Hastings-on-Hudson Fire Department is 100% volunteer, it's main mission is to
protect and serve the citizens of Hasting-on-Hudson, New York
